  63. In Loving Memory of Jack
With heavy hearts, we write this for Jack, a cherished member of our Folkie Family & wider community.
Jack was known for his remarkable intellect, kindness, and extraordinary patience. His unwavering commitment to his family and community defined him as a pillar of strength and compassion. Whether lending a helping hand or offering wise counsel, Jack touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A dedicated family man, Jack’s love and devotion to his loved ones were boundless. His presence brought joy and his wisdom inspired many. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, generosity, and integrity that will be cherished forever.
Jack was truly one of a kind—a man whose gentle spirit and remarkable qualities left an indelible mark on our hearts. Though he may no longer walk beside us, his memory will live on in the countless lives he touched.
His dedication to the Folk Festival and in turn the community was second to none.
Although he shied away from the limelight, Jack was always available and gave his time freely.
Jack managed, supported and encouraged the established group of regular volunteers and where possible increase their independence and delegate more responsibility. He managed a volunteer workforce to make best use of the skills they have to offer and in ways that shows that their contribution is valued and appreciated.
As Construction Manager, he has the admiration of the Committee, Staff and his crew of volunteers. After 40 continuous years as a volunteer himself, he relished this role and was involved until the very end.
May Jack rest in eternal peace, knowing he made the world a better place simply by being in it. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
    PFFF Committee & Staff, xx
