Lynne Starick May 1, 2025 Our beloved aunty Yang was a light in our lives, someone whose strength, humour, and warmth touched everyone she met. Even in the hardest moments of her battle with cancer, she never once let it break her spirit. She never complained, never let the pain define her. Instead, she chose joy, laughter, and love.
She had a special way of making us laugh — whether through her spot-on impersonations of people or things she’d seen that day or with a perfectly timed cheeky comment. Her sense of humour was infectious, and her energy filled every room. She had a playful spark in her eyes and a heart that cared deeply for all of us.
What stood out most was her love for family. She was always there — listening, helping, laughing, loving — no matter what.
We will miss her.
