  9. I am sorry I cannot be present to celebrate the life of this wonderful lady. I met her when I left school many years ago when I joined the Gas & Fuel Corporation in Warrnambool. She was welcoming, very helpful and she helped me grow in a changing role as computers kicked in. We became friends and played tennis together where she also met other members of my family from Cudgee. Rest in Peace Rita.

  10. My dear friend Rita
Every month I looked forward to our catch up at the Country Music Concert, and exchanging stories and music. Your knowledge was amazing and as presenters for 3WAY FM, you often got me out of a hole. Go forward with fair winds until we meet again.

  11. Rita, it was a pleasure to work with you for over twenty years during our days in the office of
Gas & Fuel. You were always a perfectionist with office procedures and taught me so much.
I, together with all staff members, always respected you and enjoyed your company.
You always showed lots of interest in the activities of your extended family as well as our families. Country Music was your passion, even travelling to Ireland on a tour with the Howie Brothers.
    R.I.P. Rita.

We will miss your knowledge of country music and your smile when you were able to answer the question posed to you. You were the back stop for me when my husband was gravely ill.
